Spiritual discipleship is an ongoing and intentional process of Christian formation of individuals that God has called as ambassadors of his kingdom to serve and lead in his mission, “…to proclaim the excellencies of the one who called us out of darkness and into his marvelous light.”

Emotional discipleship takes seriously a critical aspect of our lives. It seeks to apply the open, honest, and authentic narratives of Scripture to our mental and emotional health that enable us to flourish.

Relational discipleship, in a town built on relationships, is essential for conflict resolution, navigating workplace dynamics with uneven power differentials, and loving one’s neighbor as yourself.

The intersection of work and faith goes beyond ethics, evangelism, and economics. Through our work, we are offering foretastes of the kingdom of God to everyone as we seek the flourishing of all.

Recognizing that the term itself raises problematic connotations underscores the necessity of pursuing ideological discipleship. The Bible speaks to all of life, including the most complex questions we face.

Cultural discipleship enables us to properly understand, appreciate, and cultivate the diverse and changing culture around us, including the political context in which we live and work.

Christians are called to “proclaim the good news” (that’s literally what the word means) through our lives and how we engage the world around us. In this, we participate in Christ’s mission of “making all things new” through offering foretastes of the coming kingdom.
